What is a cubed number?
When you multiply a whole number (or) Integer (not a fraction) by itself, and then by the number itself again the result is called the cube of that number.
(or)
When you multiply a whole number (or) Integer (not a fraction) by itself three times the result is called the cube of that number.
For example 53 = 5 x 5 x 5 = (25 x 5) = 125.
0 cubed | = | 03 | = | 0 × 0 × 0 | = | 0 |
Cube of a Negative Number.
Just as the cube of a positive number is always positive, the cube of a negative number is always negative.
For example; -53 = -5 x -5 x -5 = (25 x -5) = -125.
Here are the cubes of 1 to 30 numbers.,
